ytwise is a set of free tools for YouTube creators, marketers and curious viewers. Paste a video or channel link and see what's behind it: whether it's likely monetized, its channel ID, its thumbnails and tags, and more.
Why we built it
Many YouTube tools show confident numbers without saying where they came from, and some translate key terms so poorly that the results are hard to trust. We wanted tools that are fast, read naturally in every language and are honest about what's measured, what's estimated and what can't be known.
How it works
- We read only public YouTube pages, the same ones your browser loads. No login, no API keys and no access to your channel.
- Every value is labeled as YouTube public data, an estimate, a community estimate or not available.
- Every result shows when it was checked and from which region.
- Our Methodology page explains each formula and how verdicts are decided.
What we promise
- The free tools work without an account.
- We never claim to know private data such as revenue, watch time or strikes. Only the channel owner can see those in YouTube Studio.
- We never present an estimate as a fact about a creator.
- We don't store creators' thumbnails, profile pictures or banners.
- We honor removal and opt-out requests within 7 days after verifying ownership.
Languages
ytwise is available in 12 languages. English, Korean and Japanese are fully translated, and the others are being translated now. Tool names and key terms follow the wording YouTube itself uses in each language.
