About this tool
Profile pictures in every size
YouTube keeps the profile picture a creator uploads and serves resized copies of it. We list the common sizes from 72 to 900 pixels together with the original file exactly as it was uploaded. Each size is checked, so you see its real pixel dimensions and file format. Sizes larger than the original are enlarged by YouTube without adding detail, and we mark them as upscaled.
Banners and the safe area
Channel banners are usually uploaded at 2560×1440 and cropped differently on each device. Desktop shows a wide strip (2560×424), tablets a narrower one, phones only the central 1546×423 safe area, and TVs the full image. We list every crop YouTube serves, in several widths, plus the original upload, so you can see how a banner looks everywhere before you change it.
Keep text and logos inside the safe area. It's the only part visible on every device.
Video links work too
Paste a video link and we show its thumbnails, along with the profile picture and banner of the channel that posted it.
Respect the creator's rights
Profile pictures, banners and thumbnails belong to their creators. Use them for personal reference, such as checking your own channel art or studying a design, and ask the rights holder before reposting them or using them commercially. We don't store images: previews load straight from YouTube, and downloads are passed through without being saved.
